As we gather, we would like to formally recognize the traditional keepers of this land and, specifically, our neighbors of the Alderville First Nation, with a formal territorial acknowledgement. 


We respectively acknowledge that Cramahe Township is located on the Mississauga Anishinabek territory and is the traditional territory of the Mississauga.  


Cramahe Township respectfully acknowledges that the Mississauga Nations are the collective stewards and caretakers of these lands and waters in perpetuity, and that they continue to maintain this responsibility to ensure their health and integrity for generations to come.

In accordance with Section 5.1 of By-Law 2025-24, members of the public are permitted to record open session meetings using audio-only devices. Hot-mics are not permitted. All recording devices shall be placed on the designated table for the duration of the meeting, and individuals wishing to record must sign the provided register. In the event of a recess, individuals are required to retrieve their devices and cease recording. 


As per The Township of Cramahe Records Retention By-law 2020-17, the Digital Privacy Act and The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, individuals must swear that they will not attempt to alter the audio/video recordings of today's meeting. Subject to the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, the Digital Privacy Act and The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, the Mayor and/or the Clerk may at any time request a copy of the recording and individuals will be required to produce the recording within 5 business days.

  • BE IT RESOLVED that Council approve the agenda, as presented.

Members can declare now or at any time during the meeting.

Submissions must pertain to an item on the current agenda. Each deputation shall be limited in speaking to not more than three (3) minutes. Extensions to these limits will be at the discretion of Council.

CoW Report PLAN-22-25

  • BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council direct staff to prepare a by-law to amend the Township of Cramahe’s Comprehensive Zoning By-Law 08-18, to implement the recommendations of Planning Report PLAN-22-25; and 

    THAT a holding be placed on a portion of 209 King Street East.

  • BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council direct staff to prepare a by-law to amend the Township of Cramahe’s Comprehensive Zoning By-Law 08-18 to implement the rezoning of lands as follows:

    • The severed lands will be rezoned from Rural (RU) to Rural Residential (RR) to bring the newly created parcel into compliance.
    • The retained lands will remain Rural (RU) Zone, the lands currently zoned Rural Residential (RR-1) will be rezoned Rural (RU), and Environmental Conservation (EC) Zoning will remain in place.

  • BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council receive Report PLAN-25-25 for information; and

    THAT Council direct Staff to prepare a by-law to amend the Township of Cramahe’s Comprehensive Zoning By-Law 08-18 to implement the recommendations of this report.

  • BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council receive Report PW-12-25 for information; and

    THAT Council awards Tender 2025-01 Ferguson Electric Company Limited for the sum of $398,000.00 plus HST.

  • BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approve by-law 2025-34, being a By-law under the provisions of Section 34 & 36 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, to amend By-Law No. 08-18, the Comprehensive Zoning By-Law, to add a holding Symbol (H) with respect to certain lands located in part of Lot 27, Concession 2, in the Township of Cramahe, be read a first, second and third time, finally passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed and entered into the by-law book. 

  • BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approve By-Law 2025-35 being a bylaw under the provisions of Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, to amend By-law No. 08-18, the Comprehensive Zoning By-Law, with respect to D14-KEO-03-25- Tobacco Rd, located in part Lot 19, Concession 7 of the Township of Cramahe, be read a first, second and third time, finally passed, signed by the Mayor and the Clerk, sealed and entered into the By-Law Book.

  • BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approve By-law 2025-36, being a by-law to designate the property at 45 Parliament Street, Colborne, Cramahe Township, Concession 2, Part Lot 27 and 28, PLAN 58 PT LOT 26 PT BLK G, as having cultural heritage value and interest, be read a first, second and third time, finally passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed and entered into the By-law book. 

  • BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approve By-law 2025-39, D14-WIL-04-25 Pinewood School Rd., being a by-law under the provisions of Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, to amend By-Law No. 08-18 of the Corporation of the Township of Cramahe, be read a first, second and third time, finally passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed and entered into the by-law book. 

  • BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approve By-Law 2025-40 being a by-law to assume certain portions of land for public use as roadways within the boundary of the Corporation of the Township of Cramahe, lands identified as Part 2 on PLAN 39R15022, and transferred to PIN 51149-0250 (locally known as King Street East., be read a first, second and third time, finally passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed and entered into the by-law book. 

  • BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approve By-law 2025-41, D14-VOS-07-25, Concession Road 1, being a by-law under the provisions of Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, to amend By-Law No. 08-18 of the Corporation of the Township of Cramahe, be read a first, second and third time, finally passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed and entered into the by-law book. 

  • BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approve By-law 2025-42, D14-CLA-08-25 Pinegrove Rd., being a by-law under the provisions of Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, to amend By-Law No. 08-18 of the Corporation of the Township of Cramahe, be read a first, second and third time, finally passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed and entered into the by-law book. 

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approve By-Law 2025-43, being a by-law to appoint, or remove, members to boards and committees of the Corporation of the Township of Cramahe, be read a first, second and third time, finally passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed and entered into the by-law book.

Notice of Motion received on May 14th, 2025, as per Procedural By-law 2025-24, Section 22.2. 

  • WHEREAS the Apple Country Jamboree has been a long-standing community event that celebrates local heritage, culture, and musical talent; and

    WHEREAS 2025 marks the 20th anniversary of the Apple Country Jamboree, a milestone that highlights two decades of volunteerism, community spirit, and economic contribution to our community; and

    WHEREAS community events such as the Jamboree foster local pride, attract visitors, and enhance the quality of life for residents;

    THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Cramahe Council supports the 20th anniversary of the Apple Country Jamboree with a one-time contribution of $500; and

    THAT a letter of congratulations and support be sent to the organizers recognizing the long standing value of the Apple Country Jamboree.
